Hi~ I’m Maali, a certified Graphic Designer with 4 years of experience in Print Design, Digital Design, Social Media Management and Marketing. Having worked in both corporate and creative environments, my design skills have been utilised for a multitude of different aesthetics and styles. I love adding my own expertise and personal spin on my designs, but ultimately I love being a vessel for others to make their design goals come to life.
SPECIALITIES

I have been doing digital design for 5+ years, starting out on small student films and passion projects. I received my first industry job as a Graphics Co-ordinator on the first season of ABC’s Troppo, before getting my official Graphics Certification from SAE. Since then I have worked for a number of brands and productions creating digital media in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

During my time as a graphic designer and co-ordinator, I have also handled a lot of print design as well. During my film projects, this was usually a wide range of printing from small scale brochures, flyers, posters and stickers to much larger scale prints such as banners, billboards, car decals , and street signage. In my corporate work, this has been more limited to labels, cartons, and other forms of packaging. I have always designed these assets and then liaised with professional printers to have them created.

I have been working in marketing for the past year, conceptualising ad campaigns, reaching out to online influencers with PR packages, and generating ideas to increase sales. I would also manage the scheduling and duration of social media advertising, and plan and execute email marketing (such as sale announcements, newsletter content, etc) using Mail Chimp.

Over the past year I have gained extensive experience in social media, from creating and scheduling social content, to creating and managing brands social media pages. A lot of my time at OzKleen and Dollar Laundry Club has been spent researching and analysing current social trends on different platforms, predicting social trends as they arise, and then conceptualising ways for the brands to capitalise on these trends in a way that is effective and aligns with the companies core vales.
